Flange BQ Font Download

Flange BQ is a bold display typeface designed by Leslie Usherwood and published by Berthold. It has an angular, mechanical look with strong shapes that stand out at large sizes.

About the Flange BQ font

The page credits Leslie Usherwood as the designer and Berthold as the publisher. The generator on this page lists Light, Regular, Medium and Bold styles, and each one comes with an italic version. The character set is listed at 205 glyphs, so it covers a wide range of letters, figures and symbols.

Because the letters are heavy and angular, Flange BQ works best for short, large text. Headlines, poster titles, logo wordmarks and cover art all suit it. Event posters, gaming thumbnails and album-style covers are common uses. For paragraphs of body text, a plain sans serif or serif is easier to read, so pick a second font for that job.
