Font Studio: Free Text Logo and Image Maker

Font Studio turns a short line of text into an image for a logo, post, thumbnail or title card. Choose a free font, bend the text into a curve, add colour, an outline, a shadow or a glow, then save a PNG, WebP or SVG. Everything runs in your browser.

Up to 3 lines and 120 characters.

How to use Font Studio

  • Type up to three lines of text. The preview updates as you type.
  • Choose a font and a canvas size. “Transparent (auto size)” fits the text tightly; the other sizes match common social, story and thumbnail formats.
  • Use Curve to bend the text into an arc, then adjust size, letter spacing and line height.
  • Pick text, background or gradient colours, and open “Outline, shadow and glow” for extra effects.
  • Save as PNG or WebP for images, or as SVG for a file you can scale in design software.

FAQ

Can I use the images commercially?

The image is yours to use, but each font has its own license. The bundled fonts are free open-license fonts. For commercial work, check the license on the font’s page before you publish a logo or product.

Does Font Studio upload my text?

No. The preview, PNG, WebP and SVG files are all made in your browser, so the text you type is not sent to our server.

Why does an SVG sometimes show a different font?

When a font file can be read, SVG letters are turned into outlines, so the file looks the same everywhere. Bundled fonts are stored as WOFF2, which cannot be read this way yet, so their SVG files keep live text and need the font installed to look right.
