About the Aleo font

Slab serifs have thick, block-like ends on the letters. That gives text a solid, sturdy feel. Aleo keeps that feel but rounds the edges a little.

Aleo was designed as a slab serif companion to Lato, the sans serif by Ɓukasz Dziedzic. The two fonts pair well when you want a sans in one part of a layout and a slab in another.

The family has six styles: light, regular and bold, each with a true italic. That gives you room for titles, captions and quotes within one family.

Aleo suits reports, school handouts, book covers, menus and logos. Its clear letter shapes help longer text stay easy to read.
