The free fonts, letter for letter

Dingos Stamp is fat and a little narrow, with curvy strokes and small sharp notches where the curves meet, as if the letters were pressed in ink. Here it is above the three free fonts.

  • Bagel Fat One has the same soft, swollen curves and playful lowercase. Start here.
  • Titan One matches the weight but has squarer corners. It holds up better in very small sizes.
  • Rubik Dirt is the pick when you want the worn, rubber-stamp texture rather than the shape.
  • Austral Sans Stamp comes from Antipixel and Julia Martinez Diana, the same studio and designer behind Dingos. It’s a lighter stamped sans that Antipixel gives away free for personal use, so it’s the only free font here with the Dingos family’s own inked texture.

Four styles became nine weights

Dingos first came in four styles: Display, Display Outline, Stamp and Stamp Outline. The Stamp pair is the rough, inked version people look for after seeing it in Canva. Antipixel has since grown Dingos into a nine-weight family, from Thin up to the familiar Black.

The full family is sold through Antipixel’s Fontspring page, where single styles cost far less than the whole set. Antipixel asks you to contact them for a web or app licence.

Seen it in Canva?

That’s where most people meet Dingos Stamp. One Reddit user hunting for a stamped logo font found it in Canva’s menu as the closest match. It works there, inside Canva. You can’t export it from Canva, though. To use the look in Cricut, Photoshop or Word, buy the style from Antipixel or install Bagel Fat One.

To bring a free font into Canva, upload the TTF in Brand Kit (Canva Pro or Teams). On the free plan, export your headline as a transparent PNG and place it in the design.

Where this kind of font shines

Use it short and loud: a sale banner, a kids’ party poster, a café chalkboard price or a YouTube thumbnail. Pair it with a light rounded sans for the small print. For more Canva-style picks, see the Lazy Dog font, the Anahaw font and our Halloween fonts for spooky posters.

Dingos Stamp questions

Is Dingos Stamp a free font?

No. It’s a commercial font from Antipixel, and the foundry doesn’t offer a free version. Bagel Fat One, Titan One and Rubik Dirt are free alternatives.

Who designed the Dingos font?

Julia Martinez Diana designed it, and Antipixel publishes it.

What’s the difference between Dingos Display and Dingos Stamp?

Display is the clean version. Stamp adds the rough, inked edges, and each one also comes as an outline style.

One last tip

If you only need one bold headline, Bagel Fat One gets you most of the way there for free. When a client wants the exact Canva look outside Canva, that’s the moment to buy the Stamp style.
